Here is a good website to follow for oil price futures. According to oil quotes listed for 2015, the price of oil is not coming back anytime soon. This affects oil stocks very much. REXX fell almost 18% on Friday after Thanksgiving. Even if REXX and other oil companies have seen their stock price bottom, it is unlikely that you will make any significant money for the next six months.

Raccoons
I moved to a semi-rural area around 27 years ago in 1987, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is so quiet at night. Usually all I hear are crickets and frogs along with an occasional car passing by on the narrow road near the house.
The woods behind the house and the creek near the house are teeming with wildlife. I have experienced many close encounters with deer, possums, raccoons, and snakes. The neighbor also owns peacocks.
Around sundown every night, I usually throw out some bread to the peacocks when they come around the sliding glass door in the evening. Last night I threw out more bread than the peacocks could eat. They will usually get the bread in the morning if they don't get it at night.
However, as I was watching football last night, I noticed a raccoon ate the bread instead. Then, he proceeded to look in the sliding glass door just like the peacocks do. He wanted more food, but I did not really want a pet raccoon. They are interesting to look at, but you never know when they might become dangerous. Such is life in the country.
